About
Yellow Submarine Preschool of Arts is not your ordinary preschool. We are an arts-focused early childhood institution dedicated to nurturing children between the ages of 3–6 through holistic, creative education.
We believe:
- Every child is naturally creative.
- Education should spark imagination and meaning, not just memorization.
- The arts give children the tools to understand themselves, connect with others, and shape the world.
Our philosophy combines:
- MIT Lifelong Kindergarten’s 4 pillars: Play, Create, Share, Reflect.
- Holistic arts immersion: painting, sculpture, photography, dance, fashion design, poster making, and even architecture.
- Character & life skills: teamwork, empathy, communication, and confidence.
Our Mission
To cultivate future thinkers, makers, and dreamers who see the world not only as it is, but as it could be.

Meet the Team
An architect turned educator and lifelong advocate for the arts, Julia founded Yellow Submarine Preschool of Arts with the belief that every child carries an innate sense of creativity waiting to be nurtured. With years of experience in both design and education, she combines structure with imagination to reimagine early childhood learning. Julia’s vision is to create an environment where arts are not an extracurricular activity, but the very heart of education—empowering children to grow with confidence, curiosity, and compassion.
With a background in architecture, design, and creative strategy, Harith brings a multidimensional approach to the growth and sustainability of Yellow Submarine. He manages operations across all branches, ensuring the school’s systems, resources, and culture align with its values and long-term mission. Beyond daily management, Harith envisions Yellow Submarine as a model for progressive education, with the potential to influence national education policy. His goal is to position YS as a beacon of creative education in Malaysia and, eventually, a global reference for meaningful learning.
